Megan leads a vinyasa flow practice integrating focused breath and movement to help increase strength, stamina, and flexibility while quieting the mind. After dabbling in yoga throughout her ballet training, Megan began a consistent and rewarding practice upon moving to Dallas in 2011. She is an E-RYT 200 and YACEP with the Yoga Alliance. Since then she has been influenced by teachers of Ashtanga yoga, and combines these methods with her dance background to design dynamic classes, filled with fluid and cohesive sequences while creating an upbeat and non-intimidating environment.
Megan believes that yoga is a joyous journey, and approaches teaching and personal practice with energetic playfulness. Her goal is to give yogis the tools to explore their individual practice safely, compassionately, and confidently.
Megan is currently working towards her RYT 500 through Sanctuary for Yoga in Nashville, TN. In addition to hosting workshops and retreats, she teaches adult and children’s yoga in Little Rock at Barefoot Studio.
