Hatha-trained and influenced by teachers of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, Megan blends these methods with her dance background to design dynamic classes, filled with fluid and cohesive sequences that allows the body and breath to move freely and naturally. She does not subscribe to a specific school of methodology, but integrates the tools she’s learned through her own practice and continued education with her personal gifts and experiences to create a style that is truly unique.
Megan is an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, RCYT with the Yoga Alliance. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Lotus Yoga Dallas, her 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training at Sanctuary for Yoga in Nashville, and her RCYT Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Education Institute. In addition to her yoga trainings, she has completed Level 1 (150 hours) of Sevanti Institute’s Ayurveda Wellness Counselor Program.
Megan teaches an 8:30am Hot Vinyasa Flow on Sundays at Barefoot Studio.
