Megan has been a student of movement her entire life. After studying Dance Performance at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she moved to Austin where she began performing professionally and teaching dance on the side. An ankle injury in 2008 turned her into a full time instructor, and she redirected her focus to dance education. Realizing it takes more than understanding movement to successfully work with children, she began attending Love and Logic seminars and became a certified Leap ‘N Learn teacher in 2010.
Looking for a way to move her body without aggravating her ankle injury, Megan walked into her first Vinyasa class in Uptown Dallas in fall 2011. She was shocked to find that yoga challenged her physically, mentally, and she was able to feel deeply connection with self in a way that only dance had been able to provide.
